5 out of 5 stars Great Help in Mexico City   December 18, 2003

There's no doubt that Mexico City is massive and intimidating, but this little map was extremely helpful for a tourist to get around the various sites in the city. It is a perfect size to fit into your pocket or backpack, and it's made of sturdy laminate so it will stand up to some heavy wear and tear. All the spots in the city you'd want to visit are included and there's a map of the subway (a great deal at about 20 cents a trip) on it as well. Highly recommended.

5 out of 5 stars Handy Map to Have at Your Side   November 15, 2004

This is a handy map of Mexico City to keep at your side... especially if you do not plan on lugging around larger maps during your day trips around the city. I just got back from 10 days vacation in Mexico City and found the map very useful for planning my subway rides as well as associating which neighborhoods are located where.

I don't know why one can't buy a full map of Mexico City -- I guess the place is just too big?? This map came in handy, though, during a recent trip. The metro markings really helped. It folds up and you can take it out while ducking inside a Sanborn's or something so you don't look like a complete lame-o.

5 out of 5 stars fantastic street map!   March 24, 2008

This is a must have map for the traveller to Mexico City who likes to wander. The streets are well marked on both the map and in the city. The only section that seemed weak, was the map of Coyoacan, which was less detailed than the rest of the map. Nonetheless, it was enough detail to get by and wander around on foot freely.

4 out of 5 stars I miss it...   July 25, 2008

You can't possibly get the entire freakin city on one map!!! but this map gets the best parts, and the most likely visited tourist parts on two nicely folded and laminated sides. YES there are a lot of typos--and this is distracting to me, a Spanish Prof. I got over it. I wanted to get out my red pen, but I refrained, because it's got most of the sites I needed in doing research and generally navigating El Ombligo del Mundo--the Navel of the world. I've been to Mexico City dozens of times and I've used a sharpie pen to mark on this map the places I've been to and I've kept track of useful sites over the past six???? years I've used it. Unfortunately I laid it down somewhere earlier this month and I LOST it!!! I've tried in vain to replace it, and NO the Guia Roji just doesn't cut it--it's too big and clumsy. Other tourist maps don't do what this one does--they fall apart! When I get home I'm going to buy another Streetwise from B&N and remark it as best I can... *sniff...
